About TAAG Angola Airlines
TAAG Angola Airlines is the state-owned flag carrier of Angola, which was founded in September 1938 as Divisão dos
Transportes Aéreos and started operations from July 1940. The airline operates scheduled services to 31 destinations in Angola, medium-haul services in
Africa and long-haul services to Brazil, Cuba, China, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates from its hub at the Quatro de Fevereiro Airport. It is wholly
owned by the Government of Angola and has a subsidiary by the name of Angola Air Charter. The airline also has codeshare agreements with several airlines,
including Air France, Air Namibia, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Kenya Airways, LAM Mozambique Airlines, Lufthansa and Royal Air Maroc.
