          SriLankan Airlines is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka, which was founded in 1947 as Air Ceylon and started operations from 
September 1979. The airline operates scheduled services to 99 destinations from its hub at the Bandaranaike International Airport. SriLankan Airlines has 
codeshare agreements with several airlines, including the Air Canada, Air India, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, Cinnamon Air, Etihad Airways, Jetstar Asia 
Airways, Japan Airlines, Niki, Oman Air, Saudia, etc. It is a member of the Oneworld Alliance and owns a subsidairy by the name of Mihin Lanka.
