LIAT is an airline based in Antigua, which was founded On October 20, 1956 as Leeward Islands Transport Air Services. The airline operates inter-island scheduled services to 17 destinations in the Caribbean from its base at the VC Bird International Airport, Antigua and Barbuda. It has some codeshare agreements with Carib Aviation and operates from its other bases at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados and Piarco International Airport, Trinidad and Tobago.
