LAM Airlines operating as LAM Mozambique Airlines is the flag carrier of Mozambique, which was founded in August 1936 as
Direcção de Exploração de Transportes Aéreos and started operating from December 1937. The airline operates services to 16 destinations from its hub at
the Maputo International Airport. It has focused operations at the Beira Airport and enjoys a fleet size of 7 aircrafts. LAM is headquartered in Maputo,
Mozambique and has codeshare agreements with Ethiopian Airlines, Ewa Air and Kenya Airways. The airline is owned by the Government of Mozambique.
